About us

Noah Publications

Benjamin Mendlowitz’s passion for photographing wooden boats led to the creation of his celebrated Calendar of Wooden Boats and NOAH Publications. The calendar has been enjoyed and collected by enthusiastic fans of classic wooden boats since its debut in 1983. In addition to the calendar, NOAH Publications offers several products featuring the timeless photography of Benjamin Mendlowitz, including books, note cardst-shirts, and caps.

Each year our calendar fans eagerly anticipate the new selection of Ben’s photos selected for the calendar. The images never disappoint. They are fresh, exciting, and capture the beauty of classic wooden boats. Maynard Bray’s engaging and informative text enhances each month’s photos.

The beauty of Maine’s coast inspires much of the photography featured by NOAH Publications. Located in the picturesque coastal village of Brooklin, Maine overlooking Eggemoggin Reach, NOAH Publications is owned and managed by Benjamin Mendlowitz. Our staff is dedicated to providing you with the best in personalized service. Most customer orders are shipped within 24 hours.

NOAH Publications also sponsors the Most Photogenic Boat Award at the annual Eggemoggin Reach Regatta.
